Proprietors of Linda Lingerie and Vino Divino celebrate fifth business anniversary of boutique in fine fashion

A number of commemorative celebrations, discounts and surprises  are planned to mark the fifth business anniversary of Linda Lingerie Boutique in Grasmere. First up was a Cigar Night and Lingerie Show at the Vino Divino Winery, Charleston. The event was organized by boutique owner, Linda Vinciguerra,

and Robert Rispoli, Danny Vaccaro and Sal Maresca, proprietors of Vino Divino Winery (Rispoli is owner of Pane E Vino restaurant, Great Kills) and Frank Pagano of F. &  J. Cigars, Eltingville. The evening was replete with fabulous food, a splendid array of find wine and cigars.
     The lingerie show - Ms. Vinciguerra's 100th - featured trendy nightwear and lounge attire for both men and women. Cindy Vero, WKTU-FM on-air personality, doubled as one of the models, The four-course dinner was catered by Rispoli, with cigars and wine complementing each course.
     "We basically did an exclusive cigar and wine tasting night for members of Vino Divino School of Wine. It's a way to kick off the holiday season for all Vino Divino customers. We had some serious wines from the regions of Vittuccio, Italy," said Mr. Rispoli.
     Many may recall that Ms. Vincigurra was featured in a segment of NY1 News, where she was highlighted in the small business category. She was interviewed again by NY1 News anchors over the past weekend.
     The entrepreneur believes that businesses flourish when they work hand and hand with local businesses.
     On Friday morning, many may have heard her on WNEW-FM New Mix 102.7 when she had breakfast with on-air hosts, RuPaul and Rick Stacy, and Brooklyn's own Joe Causi. She gave away to guests several items from her signature line of lingerie and was delighted to chat about her boutique. Ms. Vinciguerra also often visits WKTU-FM 103.5 to promote her
business and fashion shows.
     For her charitable endeavors and community service, as well as for her astute business savvy, she was presented with the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce's Louis R. Miller Business Leadership Award. Vinciguerra lives by her personal motto: "A life well-lived should be rich with unforgettable moments."
    Her celebrity clientele includes: New York Mets player, John Franco; former Jets football player Freeman McNeil; actors/comedians, Danny Aiello and Tony Danza; Robin Quivers from the Howard Stern show; and WKTU on-air radio personality, Diane Prior. Recording artist Sheila Brody, aka "Amuka," acknowledges Ms. Vinciguerra on her most recent album.
     FYI: Ms. Vinciguerra and her lingerie models have made appearances on the "Howard Stern" show on K-ROCK (92.3) and on the E! entertainment network.
     Stern was so impressed with Ms. Vinciguerra that he asked her to come back as soon as possible. Ms. Vinciguerra said her interview with Stern was a piece of cake and that it was extremely upbeat.

This quaint shop is packed with racks, shelves and scattered piles of beautiful, exotic and sometimes quirky lingerie. Everything from underwear basics to elegant sleepwear is sold here. But don't be shy, guys. Linda also sells men's items, including boxer shorts in satin, flannel or other comfortable fabrics.

cheer by sipping fine wine, puffing on premium cigars
and viewing a cavalcade of sexy apparel during a
Holiday Lingerie Show at Vino Divino Winery.

The seasonal extravaganza - co-presented by the F.J.
Cigars, Linda Lingerie and the Vino Divino - drew
gourmands to the winery, 22 Brienna Court, where
they feasted upon a four-course sit-down
dinner, and enjoyed a different cigar
and glass of wine with each course.
